Prof. Dr. Hamed Taherdoost, a mentor at AIEYS, is an award-winning leader with over 20 years of experience in both industry and academia. As the founder of Hamta Business Corporation, Associate Professor and Chair of RSAC at University Canada West, and Director of R&D at Q Minded | Quark Minded Technology Inc., he has contributed significantly across industries like healthcare, transportation, oil & gas, and IT. He’s also a trusted technical consultant for numerous companies. In academia, Dr. Taherdoost has taught in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America since 2009, supervising students and advancing research. He has over 300 scientific articles published, an h-index of 45, and over 18,300 citations on Google Scholar, along with several authored books and book chapters. Dr. Taherdoost’s leadership has earned him many accolades, including the THE BIZZ Business Excellence Award, PeerJ Award, and recognition in the Stanford-Elsevier list of the world's top 2% scientists (2021-2024). His editorial work spans several journals, and he actively participates in 300+ international conferences as a committee member. As a Certified Cyber Security Professional, Senior Member of IEEE, and GUS Fellow, his work spans cybersecurity, blockchain, and innovation in IT.
